- the article about joel’s retirement was finally in the paper this weekend
- sam and i watched lars and the real girl last night and it was really sweet and funny
- josh cut our hair on saturday and when we tried to leave, sam’s car wouldn’t start. we tried to jump it with josh’s car but that didn’t work so josh drove us back to sam’s (thank you, josh!) and then i drove us back up and we successfully jumped it using sam’s back-up battery thing. side note- people are pretty smirky when they notice that your non-starting car is a mercedes
- how are zachary quinto and paul schneider two different people?
- we saw tristan prettyman at stubb’s on saturday night. she was great, but i was really annoyed at stubb’s. it was an indoor show and they let in so many people that it was impossible to move inside. and they had everyone stand in the same slow-moving line to get in. so much for it being more convenient to buy tickets beforehand.
that’s all for now! cancun in just over a week! i can’t wait!

at lunch i went to savers and found a pair of uggs with totally unscuffed bottoms for $6.99!
and after the gym tonight i stopped at randall’s and they’re remodeling and had the hams on clearance and i got a spiral sliced, pre-glazed 11.22 pound ham for…… $6.62! it was originally $42.71. it took me a good 30 minutes to slice the whole thing and bag it up for the freezer, but i think it’s worth it. mmmm… ham……

sam and i went to see master pancake theater do ‘the day after tomorrow‘ last night and i had the BEST salad EVER! you should definitely get it the very next time you go to the ritz.

once upon a time in mexico salad-
grilled flat iron beef steak, jicama, avocado, red onion, cotija cheese and blue corn tortilla crisps on mixed greens with a roasted jalapeno lime vinaigrette. (i skipped the avocado though)

ps- they have a liquor license now! real drinks!

sam and i are going to visit beth in nc this summer and we’re going to myrtle beach with her. how cute is the place we’re staying?
and that’s only like 6 weeks after we get back from cancun! two beaches in two months!
our cancun stay will be a bit more luxurious than myrtle beach. well, ok… a lot sam rocks.
